They just released the poster for Jenna Dewan’s 2008 romantic comedy ‘The Jerk Theory‘. The movie will be coming out some time later this year, and you can view the trailer at CTU. It’s actually one of FIVE films this hard-working actress has on her dance card this year. Here’s a list of the ones we know so far:
‘Love Lies Bleeding‘ (January 2008) ‘Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal‘ (August 2008) ‘Shine On‘ (TBD) ‘The Jerk Theory‘ (TBD) ‘The Six Wives of Henry Lefay‘ (TBD) As if that’s not enough, Channing Tatum’s longtime girlfriend was just recently cast in ‘Virgin on Bourbon Street‘ (which is currently scheduled to start filming in August), and the Hollywood Reporter, E! Online, and numerous other entertainment news outlets announced today that Jenna has been cast in two more roles.

NEWS FLASH: Channing Tatum’s ‘Dear John’ to Film in South Carolina
It all started last year with the announcement that Channing Tatum was cast in the lead role and for a while, that’s all we knew about his romantic drama ‘Dear John‘. For most fans, that was enough to get us hooked, but we all know that you need more than just one actor to make a movie (even if it’s Channing Tatum). Recently, they announced a director (Lasse Hallstrom). Then, they announced the casting directors (Joanna Colbert and Richard Mento). Now, thanks to Fabulous Channing Tatum Fan Brandi, I can let you all know exactly where they will be filming this fall. OK maybe not exactly, but close enough…

Joined by the entire cast from the movie, Director Jon Chu hosted yet another dance off battle! The high-energy event featured film talent, celebrity friends of the filmmakers and some of Los Angeles’ top industry dancers and choreographers. Graffiti artists, dance crews, and B-Boys (break dancers) helped make the guests feel like you’re in the movie by recreating “the streets,” as principal cast walked the red carpet. NEWS FLASH: Channing Tatum’s ‘Battle in Seattle’ Launches New Interactive Website
I wanted to let everyone know that Channing Tatum’s upcoming drama ‘Battle in Seattle‘ just released their new interactive official website. Fans can now sign up to try to win free tickets to a screening of the film and can also learn how to spread the word about the film on Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites. Finally, fans can learn more on how to see the film by volunteering to mobilize a theater take over in your city. Step Up 2: The Streets‘ director Jon Chu also just released a video today to give us a quick update on the ACDC vs. M&M Cru dance battle and to remind everyone about the DVD release. Jon was also nice enough to send me a large ‘Step Up 2: The Streets‘ poster that he autographed for one lucky fan. NEWS FLASH: Casting Directors Chosen for Channing Tatum’s ‘Dear John’
I found an article today that says the production team has now chosen the casting directors for the film. Joanna Colbert and Richard Mento who coincidentally also casted Channing Tatum’s ‘Step Up and ‘Step Up 2: The Streets‘, are now attached to cast ‘Dear John‘, a drama about a young soldier (John) who falls in love with a quiet college student (Savannah) while home on leave. I recently posted an article about Channing Tatum’s highly-anticipated return home from Prague after he completed the filming of his big-budget movie ‘G.I. Joe‘ in the Czech Republic. Chan even gave an impromptu interview to the awaiting paparazzi.
